Graphic Recording

See what you mean! Live drawing at meetings, events, journey mapping, conferences and more. Unforgettable visuals and an experience that honours many ways of knowing. We can travel to you in person, or work online.

Graphic recording is unforgettable

Forget those messy flip charts from the last meeting. A graphic recording that captures the heart of the discussion is powerful—and unforgettable. And yes –  fun!

Impact of graphic recording

Groups thrive when they’re engaged, collaborating and clear on what to do next. We’ve worked with groups of all sizes—2 to 2,000—both online and in person.

Individuals feel valued when their stories are drawn:

  • Keynotes
  • Patient journey mapping
  • Focus groups
  • Sharing circles
  • People with lived/living expertise

Group collaboration that’s inclusive and participatory:

  • Internal meetings
  • Culture and strategy
  • Workshops
  • Planning
  • Community sessions

Events and conferences

  • Summarizing entire conferences
  • Synthesizing dialogue events
  • Retreats
  • Group work, World Cafes
  • Public engagement

Online and in person graphic recording

Use graphic recording online or in person, with options for digital (iPads) or large posters.

No matter the location—whether it’s a community meeting in an Arctic gym or a conference in Tanzania (where we once had to guard posters from baboons!)—we’ll work with you to make it happen.

We’re a trusted partner

A great graphic recorder doesn’t just “show up and draw”—we work with you from the start to understand what you need.

We’ll bring a combination of skills: drawing, listening, subject matter expertise, and a passion for group dynamics to support the journey.

We coordinate great teams

You can also have more than one graphic recorder at a meeting.

This enables us to harvest a level of detail that’s impossible with one person alone, and we can give breakout groups 1:1 dedicated time. It’s joyful and high-energy, too.

Keep the momentum going

Afterwards, use the graphic recordings to keep the momentum going. We’ll send you digital files right away to use. Here are some of our favourite ways to use them after. You might:

  • keep people informed: share back by email, publish in reports, online, or between meetings
  • continue engagement: get more feedback on the topic by showing the graphics
  • refine the images: take parts of the graphic recordings and refine or summarize them

Additionally, if you need graphic recording translated into other languages – if you provide us with the translated text, we’ll recreate the images bilingually. We’ve worked in Inuktitut, French, Spanish, Greenlandic and more.
