A gradient of agreement for stronger decisions

Useful for in person, online, and in documents

Make stronger decisions – express agreement and disagreement with a gradient. It’s more useful than a yes/no. A gradient of agreement/disagreement can help us:
✅ express more clearly that we’re mostly in agreement with a “yes, and…”
✅ understand to what degree we disagree, so people aren’t guessing
✅ take the temperature about an idea. Online, you can hold up fingers – it’s not a vote, but a quick, visual way to gather data about where a group is at
✅ establish some shared language in a group/ team even when adding comments or feedback to a shared online doc. (“Oh, you agree with me? I couldn’t tell…”)

Many versions of this tool exist, but a range from 1-5 covers a wide range of work/ community / family decisions.
