Social media for non profits

The brains behind informative and readable legal information work in the Public Legal Education and Information (PLEI) sector. When you go to a website looking for information about your rights, and you find it, people working in PLEI are happy.

There was a national PLEI conference in the spring of 2011 held in Vancouver. I co-presented as a community partner about successful social media for non profits, representing the BC Coalition of People with Disabilities and joining PovNet and others to share our successes. I put together slides and Kara made a comic about PovNet as a way to engage our audience.
