My side project, the Graphic History Collective, was invited to give a keynote presentation at Mount Royal University. We write and curate critical comics about working people’s history in Canada, because how we tell histories can change the world. (We’re big on optimism over at the GHC.)
Robin Folvik, a labour researcher, and I travelled to Calgary and presented a selection of the comics, which you’ll be able to read in full in our book next year, and hopefully inspired undergraduates to combine art, academics, and stories that don’t get told.
Thanks for the invitation!
