I contributed four infographics for the Columbia Institute to present at the Green Jobs BC Conference. Held September 21-22, 2012, it’s “an alliance between BC’s Environmental and Labour movements to build a green economy in BC.” Web versions of the files are below; printed copies were handed out along with the delegate packages.
The organizers say that in BC, “we have an opportunity. British Columbia can protect jobs and create new good jobs – thousands of them. We can also do more – and more quickly – to reduce our carbon footprint and help avert climate change. We can do all this while making sure nobody is left behind. Good jobs, social justice and environmental justice – BC can pursue all of these by implementing a green jobs strategy.” Keep the conversation going with #greenjobsBC and @greenjobs_BC.
