Creating Joy While Leading in Extraordinary Times
When your webinar is about leaders creating joy – bring joy inside the webinar with art, graphic recording, poetry, and meaningful connection!
Royal Roads University is hosting a leadership webinar series, “Leading in Extraordinary Times”. In this first session, Niels Agger-Gupta and Susan Thackeray explored, “Creating Joy and Community while Leading Through Difficult Times.” This graphic recording of the speakers and discussion was done 100% virtually.
“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in.” Haruki Murakami
Drawing Change was proud to be a co-sponsor of this important dialogue. At the end, I helped share my perspective as a graphic recorder on the video feed about my visual process, deep listening, and how the themes are woven together in the image. The chat was pinging constantly with feedback from participants about what it was like for them …. I’d say that “joy” would be a good description – and I felt that too!
